The West Forest Sinfonia have commissioned Roger to compose a large orchestral work to be premiered at the Great Hall of Reading University in the autumn. It will take inspiration from the solar system.

On Love, a choral setting of Shakespeare's sonnet 116 with the addition of alto sax, is now available from Saxtet Publications and can be heard on the Listen page.

Just Music launched their publication of Eulogy Blues, a work for brass band, last year. The commemorative piece is based on motifs from Louis Armstrong's famous introduction to West End Blues.

Roger gave his final presentation in the Reading Arts 2013-14 classical series with a talk on the Beethoven string quartets and their legacy.

Two of Roger's orchestral works, Yip! Yap! and Aether, were selected for the Vine Orchestra project and have consequently been recorded and released on the Vine app, as well as other social media.

Gym-tastic! is Roger's latest work for brass quintet, and is a challenging and fun depiction of the energetic acrobatics of these brilliant athletes.

Reynard Music has placed Sketches of the Great Wall in a couple of recent concert band repertoire days.
